The following Scholarships are offered by the DAAD for applicants of developing countries as well as others for Postgraduate Courses for Professionals with relevance expertise.
The Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology offers a four- semester graduate program in textile and clothing technology for students with an undergraduate degree. Successful participants are awarded a Master of Science degree.
This interdisciplinary program is research-oriented approach that offers specialist textile courses combined with fundamental knowledge of mathematics, engineering, and economics. The main textile courses are focused on chemistry, textile fibers, yarns, and
fabrics, enclosing sessions on finishing, testing, quality management, sewing, and recycling.
The importance of technical textiles for today's textile industry is emphasized and lessons are continuously updated with latest research results from all relevant fields. Many students work as assistants on current research projects.

Eligibility:
- B.Sc. degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering, TextileEngineering, Textile Technology, Ready-Made ClothingEngineering, Ready-Made Clothing Technology, Textile Chemistryor Textile Finishing.
- At least 2 years of relevant career experience
- Sufficient knowledge in German language. The program is mainly conducted in German with several courses from external experts held in English
