Henley Business school Future Leaders' Fund - Full-time MBA Scholarships and Bursaries 2015

Scholarships and bursaries are available at Henley Business School to support outstanding applicants for our Full-time MBA in 2015.

Henley Business School is delighted to announce a new scholarship package: "our ‘Future Leaders’ Fund’ which we’re launching to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Henley Business School."

Objectives of Henley MBA Scholarships   

A scholarship is financial support awarded by an academic institution to a student on the basis of academic merit. A key consideration in selection of Henley’s Full-time MBA Scholarship awards will therefore be the degree to which they believe the candidate will make a significant contribution to the quality of the Henley MBA program.

Application Deadline for this Scholarship: Midnight on Friday 31 July 2015.

Selection Criteria for this scholarship   

To be considered for this scholarship student must have applied for the Henley Full-Time MBA and submitted a short essay of no more than 800 words addressing the question:

 ‘How do you plan to use your Henley MBA to shape the future of business?'

Candidates will additionally be assessed on the following matters for this scholarship:

 Academic merit: it is likely that award winners will have a PhD, Master’s degree, or either a UK first-class Honours Degree or its international equivalent from a reputable, leading University or academic institution;

Leadership potential: please attach your CV detailing your career history and ongoing professional or academic development; and by the demonstration of values and attributes that match Henley’s in their application.

How to Apply for scholarship

First, please submit your application for the Henley Full-time MBA.

Once you have submitted your application, please email your essay and up-to-date CV (if not previously submitted with your application) to Henley Business School: mba@henley.ac.uk.

Candidates should note that Henley Business School will only award one scholarship per person; however students are invited to apply for multiple scholarships.

Deadlines and Notification

The entry deadline is midnight on 31 July 2015.

The scholarship awards will be decided by a panel of Henley Business School faculty members. Please note that feedback cannot be provided to unsuccessful applicants and the academic panel’s decision is final and not open to discussion or appeal by applicants.

Candidates who are awarded the scholarship will be notified no later than the 15 August 2015 via email; those who have not been awarded a scholarship will not be notified.

Finance   

We have a scholarship fund of £140,000 available to applicants who have applied for a place on our Full-Time MBA program and submitted their scholarship application by midnight on 31 July 2015.

The fund is available for outstanding candidates and will take the form of a reduction in fees on enrollment.

Note:   Scholarships cannot be transferred to another intake if a student chooses to defer their entry.
